Misty joined the Animalia team in 2016 and is a familiar face around our hospital!
She has always had a love of animals and an interest in veterinary medicine. After working as an accountant for 10 years, Misty decided to change careers and pursue her passion of working with animals. She graduated from Berry College with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Master of Accountancy, and Penn Foster College with an Associates in Veterinary Technology. Misty is Fear Free certified and has a particular interest in anesthesia and analgesia.
Outside of work, she can be found spending time with her three dogs, Mayhem, Ruckus and Petunia. She enjoys paddle boarding, kayaking, reading, visiting the beach as much as possible, supporting the Nashville Predators, and hanging out at home with her husband and pups!
