Makayla - Veterinary Assistant

Makayla joined the Animalia team in 2022 after nearly four years in the banking industry.

She knew a career change was necessary and has always had a passionate interest in animals, especially cats. After experiencing the culture at Animalia, Makayla knew we were a perfect fit! This may be her first job in veterinary medicine, but she is excited to learn and grow her skills around the clinic.

Outside of work, Makayla can be found reading, playing video games, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. You’ll typically find her hanging out with her husband and their three sweet kitties, Cleo, Freyja, and Drizzt!
